Showcasing Ireland’s Scenic Walks and Storied Landscapes

Beloved Irish series Tracks & Trails is back for its 12th season celebrating the island’s breathtaking landscapes and the people who cherish them.

This year, the series takes on a fresh feel as it’s guided by broadcaster, musician, and podcaster Doireann Ní Ghlacáin, who explores seven counties alongside special guests.

Each episode sees Doireann exploring and talking with well-known personalities as they share their deep connections to the Irish countryside. From woodland strolls to mountain hikes, and ancient ruins to forgotten villages, the conversations flow as freely as the stunning scenery. Along the way, guests open up about what makes these places so meaningful to them and why slowing down to immerse themselves in nature matters now more than ever.

Our Guest Presenters get the chance to link their passion for history and poetry, science and nature along the trails they discover.  The people that they meet along the way bring colour and context to where the trails take them and as a viewer you get a real insight into the presenter as they bring their own personality, pace and perception of their experiences as they walk.
