Mary Mulvihill takes a scenic journey along the banks of the River Barrow all the way from Leighlinbridge to St Mullins. Her walk allows her to meet many local historians and folklore experts and she enjoys some cycling and kayaking as she goes. The River Barrow, Ireland’s second longest river, there are many places to start your walk along the River Barrow, we have chosen Leighlinbridge to St.Mullins which should take you the best part of a day.
